Mission
To provide education and leadership towards effective volunteer management in North Carolina.
Organizational Structure
Incorporated in 1974, the North Carolina Association of Volunteer Administration is a non-profit, professional development, membership organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors. Approximately 200 individual members and fourteen affiliate organizations serve to link the resources of the state organization to local managers of volunteer programs across North Carolina.
Primary Goals
- Advocate for and promote professional volunteer management
- Provide leadership and growth opportunities for professional volunteer management
- Increase public awareness about the importance of effective volunteering
- Collaborate with other organizations to further all the goals of NCAVA
