Conference
Each year, NCAVA hosts the Statewide Conference on Volunteerism. This professional development event is full of leading-edge workshops and resources, great networking opportunities and just plain fun. The NCAVA Conference is held in the late spring to early summer and rotates its location through the state to engage the widest participation possible from North Carolina's diverse group of volunteer managers.

NCAVA Award Forms Now Available!!!
The nominations forms are available below and must be submitted to Kevin Robertson at krobertson2004@yahoo.com by April 16, 2010. These awards will be presented at the 2010 Conference in Concord, NC. Below are the descriptions for each of the three awards.
NCAVA Marsha Riddle Lifetime Achievement Award
(This award if for service in 2009 and will be awarded at the 2010 Volunteer Conference)
This award was originated at the 25th NCAVA Annual Conference in honor of Marsha Riddle. The first recipient was Marsha Riddle, who is a charter member and long-time advocate of NCAVA. The recipient of this honor shall have demonstrated throughout his/her career dedication to the profession of volunteer administration. The nominee must be a member of NCAVA and should promote a professional image of leadership and/or education to their colleagues.
(This award if for service in 2009 and will be awarded at the 2010 Volunteer Conference)
This award is given to an affiliate that has proven to be an outstanding NCAVA Affiliate. The affiliate must be a current member of NCAVA. Activities addressed promoting the professional image of volunteer administration in the nomination should have been accomplished between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year.
VOLUNTEER ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR
(This award if for service in 2009 and will be awarded at the 2010 Volunteer Conference)
This award is given to an individual who has proven to be an outstanding volunteer administrator. He or she must be a current member of NCAVA. Activities addressed in the nomination should have been accomplished between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year.
