Please join NCAVA today! We are North Carolina's only statewide professional association for ALL volunteer managers. Our members range from those serving in 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, to those employed in local and state government, to individuals in the for-profit sector and everyone else in between. Our members do come from all walks of life, but all share a similar passion and dedication to the field of volunteer management.

NCAVA Membership Options

Individual Membership
Individuals may join NCAVA for $40 per year. The membership year occurs from January to December. An individual NCAVA membership is required to hold a position on the board or to apply for certification.

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate groups are encouraged to join NCAVA for $25 per year. Affiliates of NCAVA will receive financial and logistical support from NCAVA each year for the execution of training sessions or workshops. Affiliates may also take advantage of the opportunities available through NCAVA's 501(c)3 status, such as requesting grants, bulk mail permits, or other items available to tax exempt nonprofits. However, NCAVA must be notified in advance, and any financial or other obligations which might accrue to NCAVA must be pre-approved.

Organization Membership
An organization may join NCAVA for $100 per year and designate two employees to hold individual memberships and be eligible for all basic benefits. In addition, the organization will be recognized in the NCAVA newsletter and on the NCAVA website.
