Letter from the President Regarding the NCAVA Board Retreat

Dear NCAVA members,

It is my sincere honor to begin to serve all of you as president, however, I wish it could be during more stable times. This pandemic has affected every country in the world, and every aspect of our lives. After making the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 conference, I wanted to reach out to you to let you know we also have decided to cancel the in-person board retreat.

The board retreat typically takes place the second week in July and is a powerful way to start the new year. We are not letting the change of plans affect us, and the board will be meeting virtually for those three days. We will still be discussing how NCAVA remains relevant during these times by providing benefits and tools to our members, as well as, how we expand professional development and networking opportunities to MORE volunteer administrators around the state.

Stay tuned for a report about retreat. And it is not too late to join our board as a regional director. We have openings in every region. If you are interested, please email us at ncavacommunicationsteam@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can get you signed up for retreat.

Sincerely,

Jack Henry, CAVNC
